Day 5: Select a book. Illustrate your favorite part. This can be completed in many ways. You can do a drawing on paper, a chalk drawing, a playdoh creation, or a block creation. Get creative and use what you have at home. Have someone take a picture and send it to me. I am going to share some photos this week. If you would like your project shared, have someone take a picture of you with your project.
Week of April 27-May 1
This week's assignments will focus on books that you get to select.
Days 1 and 2: Take some time to select books to read. You can select books you have at home, select read-alouds from the daily videos, or listen to read-alouds. Have someone sign a sheet of paper for each day. This will count as your "Read and Respond" sheet.
Days 3 and 4: Select a book that you have read. What would you like to share about this book? You can do this in many ways. The following are just a few ideas: create a poster about your book, create a new book cover that illustrates what your book is about, or create a project that illustrates your favorite part from your story, You do not have to select from this list. Get creative and use what you have at home.
Day 5: We will have a Zoom meeting to share our activities. I will send information about this meeting. If you cannot get on Zoom, you can send me a picture of your activity and tell me about it.
