Day 2: : Read a book or chapter of a book. Then, think about something you can connect to in the book. Do the handout. You can also complete this on your own paper.

Days 3 and 4: Read a book. Create the main character, using items you have at home. You can do a chalk drawing, a painting, a drawing on paper, or construct your character out of playdoh. Get creative! Take a picture of your character. Once you have completed your character, tell me something about your character from your story. Do this on your own paper.
April 20-24
Day 1: Select a story. Retell the story by writing important parts that happened in the beginning, middle, and end of the story. This can be completed on your own paper.

Day 2: Think about a book that you have really enjoyed. Give me a brief summary and tell why you enjoyed the book.
Days 3 and 4: Read a book. Create the setting, using items you have at home. This can be done in many ways: a chalk drawing, a drawing on paper, a painting, a playdoh setting. Take a picture of your project. Tell why the setting is important to the story. I am going to share some photos this week. If you would like your project shared, have someone take a picture of you with your project.
